Seasonal Guest Service Manager ($18-$22/hr + Bonus)

SEASONAL GUEST SERVICE MANAGER

Are you a dynamic Guest Services Manager looking to work in a fast-paced and fun environment? If so, H2OBX Waterpark is looking for you. In alignment with the waterpark’s vision, mission and organizational values, the Seasonal Guest Services Manager will act as a liaison between the park and its guests. This position is responsible for managing guest needs, ensuring the highest customer satisfaction, and maintaining the flow of guests through our main gate. This is a Seasonal Hourly Position.

Specific Functions:

• Recruit, interview and hire staff of 30+ employees
• Evaluate guest service team members’ performance while also training, encouraging team work, and setting a high level of customer service standards
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and manage Guest Services software (Siruisware)
• Develop, implement and monitor schedules
• Monitor payroll hours of all guest service employees to ensure labor budgets stay at or below budgeted guidelines
• Maintain high level of guest satisfaction by overseeing all main gate activities including but not limited to: purchasing tickets, season passes, upgrades, refunds, bag check, lockers, etc.
• Address all guest complaints, concerns, or incidents in a polite, timely, and responsive manner
• Have full understanding and knowledge of the park to train staff and inform guests
• Assist the General Manager as needed

Job Qualifications/Requirements:

• Leadership, problem solving, and organizational skills required
• Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong customer service skills required
• Possess knowledge of POS system, Windows, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Basic math skills required
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in customer service preferred.

Work Conditions, Schedule, and Salary:

• Exposure to extreme temperatures and weather should be expected as work will, on most occasions, occur outdoors.
• Weekend and holiday availability is required as well as flexibility with work schedule.
• Hourly rate is $18 to $22 an hour. Depending on experience
