As part of its Business After Hours series, the Currituck Chamber of Commerce, together with SunEnergy1, is hosting a Solar Educational Open House on April 26, 2017 from 5pm to 7pm at 1374 Caratoke Hwy Moyock, NC. The event will include live music, catering by Southland Restaurant, tours, and educational presentations. SunEnergy1 will share information on the benefits of renewable energy and the positive impacts of solar development in local communities . Industry professionals will also be available to answer questions about solar facility development and operation. As part of the Educational Open House, SunEnergy1 will present donations to several of its community partners that serve Currituck County. These organizations include Currituck County High School, College of the Albemarle Foundation, the Lower Currituck and Pilmoor Church Food Pantries, Currituck Kids, and Backpacks for Kids.
