The PCRM Food for Life: Cancer Project class series offers the opportunity to learn about the link between diet and cancer and the benefits of plant-based nutrition along with some practical cooking skills, all in a supportive small group setting. The class covers both nutrition and cooking instruction, as well as recipes and handouts. The entire Cancer Project course will be covered in a convenient 2-day class format taught Saturday February 29th and Sunday March 1st, from 1-4pm. The program includes topics like Introduction to Foods that Fight Cancer, Cancer-Fighting Compounds and Immune-Boosting Foods, Foods and Breast Cancer Survival plus Cancer-Fighting Compounds and Healthy Weight Control. The class is limited to 8 participants. The fee for this 2 day class series is $100.
A companion text/cook book, "The Cancer Survivor's Guide", will also be available for purchase during class.
